Mr. Harberson joined VDA in 2022 as a Senior Inspector in the Houston, TX office. He is a 43-year veteran of the elevator industry, having held various positions at General Elevator, Dover Elevator, and Amtech Elevator before joining Barbre Consulting, Inc. in 2002 as a Consultant. Mr. Harberson has previously been involved in all aspects of the trade, including construction, service, and modernization. He is a Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI), certified by Lift Technologies International, Inc., an accredited agency recognized by The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), as well as a Dover Elevator Corporation Factory Trained Adjuster. Mr. Harberson is currently involved in code compliance services.
