Mr. Saunders joined VDA in 2019 as an Associate. His responsibilities include the maintenance equipment evaluations, due diligence surveys, traffic analyses, modernization services and specification preparation of existing equipment in existing buildings.

Mr. Saunders began his career as a mechanic with Elevator Specialist Inc., an Independent Elevator Company in Atlanta in January 1985.  He worked the first eighteen (18) years as a mechanic and lead mechanic on some larger accounts.  Mr. Saunders has experience in Service, Repair and Modernization of Elevators and Escalators.  He became a full time Field Supervisor for his last two (2) years at Elevator Specialist, Inc.  In addition, Mr. Saunders worked with Otis Elevator Company in the Atlanta Branch as a Maintenance Supervisor from May 2005 until May 2018.
