VDA Announces Appointment of CEO

vda, Inc. (“VDA”), the nation’s leading elevator and escalator consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gavin Campbell as Chief Executive Officer.

Campbell comes to VDA from Intertek Group, PLC, where he served as President and was responsible for two global business lines, with 140 locations across eight countries. He has extensive experience in the manufacturing, construction and transportation industries. Mr. Campbell is skilled in building and leading global teams across multiple disciplines, such as environmental and geotechnical engineering, building science consulting, lab and field testing, product certification, sustainability, fire safety, emission and performance verification, and quality verification inspections.

“We are thrilled to have Gavin in the CEO role. He has the knowledge and skillset to expand on the success VDA has built over the past 40 years, and will help us reach our next level,” says Mr. Cuzzi.

Mr. Campbell succeeds VDA’s CEO, M. Wade Smith, who retired in 2022, and Interim CEO Rob Cuzzi who will continue to serve as VDA’s President.
