VDA, the leading elevator and escalator consulting firm in the U.S., is pleased to announce the acquisition of Barbre Consulting, Inc. (BCI), headquartered in Houston, Texas.

The acquisition of BCI strengthens VDA’s position in the marketplace. The combined synergies provide world-class elevator consulting services to our clients which they have come to expect while expanding our footprint in more locations across the U.S. The BCI acquisition will continue to strengthen our resources and reinforce our immediate goal to respond to our clients’ vertical transportation needs in a timely and professional manner.

Bruce Barbre founded BCI on July 1, 2001, as an independent consulting firm with impeccable ethics and experiences, along with the hope to provide specialized consulting services in the field of vertical transportation. As a result, Bruce has grown BCI over time while providing timely and detailed services that benefit his clients.

Each Associate at BCI has and will continue to provide our mutual clients with “real-world, hands-on” elevator industry experience while offering a broad background of expertise and knowledge to our consulting and inspection service offerings.
