VDA Acquires Abbacas and Access Advisors, Strengthen UK Presence
East Hanover, NJ —VDA, a leading provider of vertical transportation consulting and inspection services, announces the acquisition of two UK companies: Abbacas Consulting Ltd, a Nottingham-based elevator and escalator consultancy, and Access Advisors (UK) Limited, one of the UK’s leading façade access consultancies.
In the UK, VDA operates through its London-based brand, D2E, and both firms will join the D2E team. The acquisitions extend VDA’s reach into the Midlands and the UK public sector, and more than doubles the size of its UK façade access team. Façade access is a core D2E specialty alongside vertical transportation. Together, the moves strengthen VDA’s position across several UK markets and broaden the services available to clients.
