Pete Long joined VDA in June 2022 as Vice President, Business Development.  His career of over 39 years in the industry has presented a variety of professional experiences leading to his current role with our company.  Mr. Long will be based in our Michigan office and serve the primary role in business development leadership within our company.  Focus areas initially will include Michigan, Toledo/Cleveland, and Minnesota.

Pete brings 39+ years of Industry experience to VDA.  Over those years he served roles in Engineering, Sales, P&L and Operations Management.  The experience includes substantial time in each Elevator and Escalator product line, including Service, Repair, Modernization, Construction, and Safety.

At VDA Mr. Long will focus on identification and research potential clients.  He will develop and maintain client relationships.  Finally, a major focus will be to coordinate with sales and operation teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
