Stephen M. Ross School of Business

Ann Arbor, MI

VDA provided full consulting services for four geared elevators in this new, 270,000 sq. ft. structure which stands six stories at its center and three stories high around its perimeter.  The heart of the building is the Davidson Winter Garden, a three-story, glass-enclosed academic "town square" surrounded by a 500-seat auditorium, classrooms, student group study rooms, faculty offices, and a rooftop "colloquium" that provides  space for small dinner and luncheon gatherings, and large events with up to 400 guests.

In honor of his gift of $100 million to the school, the University's Board of Regents decided to rename the school the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. The gift from Ross, a New York City real estate developer, is the largest donation ever to a U.S. business school and the largest gift to the University in its history.
