Mr. Warren joined the VDA Minneapolis, MN branch office location in April of 2020. Hired as an Associate, his main responsibilities include the evaluation, design, specification preparation, bid coordination and complete project management of new, modernized, and existing projects. He provides equipment selection, traffic analysis as well as design of elevator and escalator systems for new construction projects and for new equipment in existing buildings, and also has extensive experience in control modernization and operation.

Mr. Warren began his career at Thyssen Krupp Elevators in 2000. During his years there, he worked in all areas while at TKE but spent a bulk of his time as an adjuster primarily working on tac20’s and tac50’s.

In 2008 he took a job as a State of Minnesota inspector, conducting inspections on new equipment, modernization and conducting annual inspection on existing equipment.

In 2014, Mr. Warren accepted the Job as elevator section supervisor where he oversaw a total of eighteen (18) elevator inspectors statewide, in addition to overseeing several code adoption cycles and was the head of many code committees and technical advisory groups.
