Lincoln Center Public Space

The plan to revamp New York’s venerable Lincoln Center included significant renovation and expansion of several of Lincoln Center’s cultural facilities, new and improved amenities for the public and a dramatic new street presence for several resident organizations.  Central to the project was reconfiguration of 65th Street, enhancements to the North Plaza, a 37,000 sq. ft. expansion of The Juilliard School, upgrading of the 1,096 Alice Tully Hall, and an expanded lobby and new West 65th Street Entrance for Lincoln Center Theater.

VDA provided full consulting services through construction administration for seven (7) elevators, one (1) wheelchair lift and two (2) exterior escalators, including two (2) passenger elevators and a LULA for The Juillliard School, and Staff and Public elevators at Alice Tully Hall.
