VDA is providing consulting services for 44 elevators and 2 escalators in a new $1.8 billion facility for the Goldman Sachs Group that will be constructed on Site 26, the last remaining undeveloped commercial site in New York's Battery Park City. The 750 ft. tall building will contain 2 million square feet on 45 floors. Six floors in the base will house the firm's 75,000 sq. ft. trading floor. One hundred and forty feet up, the building will be set back 70 ft. to a more slender office tower.

Pei Cobb Freed & Partners is the Design Architect for the project, which is scheduled to be complete in 2009. Adamson Associates is the production architect.
