VDA provided services to five firms during the design competition for AIG's new Hong Kong headquarters building, and then was a member of the Skidmore, Owings & Merrill team that provided the design for the actual project - a 40-story building located at 1 Connaught Road Centre, on the site that had been occupied by the Furama Hotel. The tower, which was completed in April 2004, includes parking for 190 cars and pedestrian bridges linking the tower to the Kong Kong network. This building was completed in April 2004.
